It’s been already 20 years since Diana is not among us, but many memories are left in people’s hearts and even more in photos.
Diana was the the youngest child in the family, she was born on the 1st of July in 1961. Back then her parents were Viscount and Viscountess Althorp.
Unfortunately Diana did not have a chance to enjoy the opportunity of a full family for long time as her parents got divorced. Nevertheless, she visited her parents as often as possible, to spend equal amount of time with both parents.

Diana did not have a brilliant career, she was an ordinary employee, first a nanny, then a cook for some time and later an assistant in Kindergarten.
After meeting the Prince she suddenly was in the spotlight and was followed by press everywhere that eventually forced her to leave her job. Everyone was curious about the relationship between the Prince of Whales and an ordinary girl, which the Royal Family was trying to hide.
In 1981, late February, Diana received an expensive engagement ring and the engagement was announced to the entire Kingdom.
The royal wedding took place on 29th of July. Diana’s exquisite dress was designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel.
Diana was only 20 years old when she got married. As any other bride she was nervous during the ceremony, but nobody even noticed apart from the moment when she had to tell her husband’s names in the correct order before giving a vow.
The event was followed by a huge amount of people watching a broadcast and standing the entire route from the Palace to Cathedral just to be a part of this historical moment.
The wedding was followed by short honeymoon sailing the waters starting from the Mediterranean until Egypt and later spending some more time in the Balmoral Castle.

Very soon, in 1982, the first child came along.
Diana wanted her children to be as down to earth as possible therefore first time in the Royal history children went to the nursery and later went to school and did not have a private education.
In 1984 the second child was born,even though in the Church he was named Henry, to all he is known as Harry.
The Princess Diana took responsibility of Royal duties and gladly met with people visiting nurseries, schools and hospitals.
After Diana became known as a future bride of the Prince, her style was always in the spotlight.

Diana was open to the public, she was not afraid to shake hands with Aids patients and this brought her popularity among Kingdom’s people. She was open in her speeches as well showing that she still is that ordinary girl she was before the marriage.
Diana took part in many Royal duties, however, in 1980s it became known that she and the Prince are no longer together.

Diana never hid her love towards her children regardless the royal protocol, her sons admitted that she always was the parent who supported all the fun children decided to pull her into.
Diana always preserved close relations with her mother Teresa.
In 1995, when relations with her husband were ruined, she gave an honest interview to BBC regarding her feelings she went through in her Royal and private life.

Regardless crumbling personal life she continued with her public work and devoted a lot of time to the charity. On the photo above she is in Pakistan hospital visiting cancer patients.
After the divorce she continued her charity work, she has sold her famous dresses and donated all the money earned in the auction.
Diana’s life was short and in 1997, after meeting in Ritz Paris Dodi Al Fayed with a man she was in relationship with, her car on the way from the restaurant got in a fatal accident.

The mourning was announced all over the Kingdom and her last journey was lined by more than a million people together with her children and ex-husband.
