Hong Kong and American actor, master of martial arts and Bruce Lee`s son also died on the set when he was 28 years old.
His final star status was supposed to be confirmed by acting in the movie “The Crow” – filled with magic, ghotic atmosphere comics adaptation focusing on honor and revenge.
31st March one hour past midnight during filming one of the last scenes where the main character was shot, Brandon was injured into his stomach. Michael Massee played one of the villains, he did the shot using 4th caliber revolver.
No one noticed gag stuck in the gun barrel that went out together with dummy round. As a result it went through the stomach and stuck in the spine that caused immense loss of blood.
Brandon Lee died in Wilmington`s North Carolina hospital 31st of March 1993 13:03 due to unstoppable bleeding.
Brandon died 17 days before own wedding. He and Elisa Hatton were already engaged and were supposed to get married right after the filming.
Death scenes were not included in the movie, all copies of it were destroyed and filmed once more with understudy. 3rd of April 1993 closed funerals were held. Brandon Lee was buried next to his father in Siettle`s “Lake view” cemetery next to Washington lake, place which his mother Linda initially reserved for herself.
