Salvador Dalí, Landscape of Figueres, 1910-1914
Dalí started painting quite early, the second drawing was made on the postcard and, if looked closely, it can be seen through. Many of his works reflect a traditional Catalan landscape, which was his homeland. His painting approach was influenced by a family friend and an artist himself Pichot, who later advocated Dalí’s education in art school in Madrid, therefore helping the young artist with his first professional steps.
