Catherine Leroy (1945 – 2006) was a French-born photojournalist and war photographer, whose stark images of battle illustrated the story of the Vietnam War in the pages of Life magazine and other publications.

Romanian-born photographer Mihaela Noroc has been photographing women around the world for the last four years. She’s captured portraits in close to 60 countries from Afghanistan to Iceland.
