10. An apartment
This is not your usual time capsule. In 1942, an actress and prominent socialite Madame Florian left Paris to escape Nazi occupation, leaving behind her entire apartment with all of its belongings. The apartment, however, was paid for during next 70 years until Madame’s death at the age of 91. Madame’s family members discovered the apartment after many years, finding it completely in order. It looked intact, all of valuable possessions remaining at their places, which also included a work of art worth more than $2.2 million. Apart from that, it also came with spooky stuffed ostrich and Disney animal toys, featuring a vintage Mickey Mouse.
None of family members even knew about the Paris apartment, it was discovered sorting through old papers and uncovering payments that occurred along the years.
